For developers, Building with the Claude API covers the essentials of production AI work: prompt engineering techniques, tool use, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), the Model Context Protocol (MCP), prompt caching, extended thinking, and evaluating model outputs — plus hands-on projects along the way.

Lessons, quizzes, exercises, and completion badges give structure to the learning. There are also specialized tracks for educators, K-12 teachers, students, nonprofits, and small businesses — making AI fluency accessible beyond the engineering bubble.
